When I was checking the comments for one of my Instagram posts, I noticed that Friend B had replied Syabiel Ahmad's question on why I was rejected from boarding Naz's bus. Friend B had replied to him saying that Naz rejected me from boarding his bus because I was a A&S Hater and he had banned me due to so-called 'past actions and behaviours.'
The 'past actions and behaviours' are made up claims by Naz that I have done something wrong in the past and are being actively distributed by his blind followers as we speak. I have already addressed this issue in my previous blog posts, so now lets move onto the topic of why do people hate A&S Transit so much?
Existing Anti-A&S Transit sentiment in the Singaporean Bus Community
While people may think that I am the only person against A&S Transit, its not really the case. The blind followers of Naz make it sound like I am the only one because I am one of the rare few bus enthusiasts who are brave enough to tell the world why we dislike A&S Transit. In many private chats and discord servers , there have been expressions of anti-A&S Transit by other individuals. Here are some instances:
Above are some instances of anti-A&S Transit sentiment in the Singaporean bus community. The identities of those who sent it (multiple people) are redacted as I do not want them to come after me for disclosing their identities.
The reason why anti-A&S Transit sentiment even exists is quite simple, it is due to the fact that fleet manager Muhd Naz Farihin being the main representative of A&S Transit in the bus community. Because of his past actions of theft and the 2023 incident where he had spread false claims about me, anti-A&S Transit sentiment is unfortunately high in the bus community for a company that probably wouldn't have had to deal with all these hate had Muhd Naz Farihin not joined the company in the first place.
Why is Muhd Naz Farihin disliked by Bus Enthusiasts in the first place?
Before the 2023 incident where Naz had spread false claims about me, anti-Naz sentiment already existed for years in the bus community. Past reasons for why he is hated include alleged theft of bus registration plates and vehicle Identification number plates (whether he really stole it or claimed them with permission is still disputed till this day) and reports of his former group Singapore Bus Spotters Association selling bus models at a LTA event without permission. During the incident where his group opened up pre-orders for bus model sales, many pre-ordered and paid money only for the pre-order to be a scam and said bus models never came. If I am not wrong even the organisers of the LTA event had to address the situation on their own. These exposés were previously avaliable on the (buses[in]gapore!) blog at
busesingapore.blogspot.com but they were later taken down by the page owner. I was looking for those blog posts recently but couldn't find them, I then messaged the page owner on WhatsApp and asked what happened, he told me he took those posts down himself because he thought that there was no need in putting them online anymore as his audience, previously Naz supporters, became his friends after realising the truth. It is a shame that the posts were taken down as I require these for my research. Other than these incidents that were previously publicised online, there is also rumours from SMRT Buses Depot staff that Naz had on one occasion sneaked a bus enthusiast into a bus Depot and one another occasion crashed a bus while trying to help colleague reverse their bus. I was told by a bus enthusiast that he was asked to do pump attendance and got his chance of being called for double-decker bus training delayed as a result of the incident. These incidents are the reason why many bus enthusiasts dislike Naz. You may be wondering how can there be so many anti-Naz individuals when there can be so many pro-Naz individuals at the same time? This is because a huge portion of Naz supporters are under the age of 18. I am aware that there are bus enthusiasts overseas who are aware of the Naz removal campaign and decided to join in the smear campaign against me. However, these people are a minority and because they are not Singaporean citizens, whatever they do isn't really the main concern.
Can A&S Transit increase their reputation in the bus community without Naz Farihin?
Currently, the reason why A&S Transit is even popular in the first place is due to Muhd Naz Farihin being the fleet manager of the company. Majority of A&S Transit fans are under the age of 18 and are therefore very vulnerable to getting brainwashed into mindless Naz supporters whose only vocabulary they know is anything that is used to smear me and other brave souls who dare or dared to expose the truth about Naz. Without Naz, A&S Transit can still succeed due to their ownership of former public buses and former National University of Singapore shuttle buses. To make sure that fleet is not only the factor that keeps A&S Transit well-known in the bus community, should Naz be finally dismissed from A&S Transit one day, I would suggest that Naz's role is taken over by a new individual who is not a fascist and does not oppress critics, but instead is open to correction with the help of the bus community. Using my recommendations, A&S Transit can continue to prosper without Naz in their staff team and without a fleet manager who oppresses brave souls who speak the truth about him.
In conclusion
In conclusion, I hope that this article helps to enlighten on why me and many other are part of the anti-A&S Transit sentiment in the Singaporean bus community. I would also like to see A&S Transit answer to the Naz removal petition and maybe take in my suggestions mentioned above to get rid of both a anti-A&S Transit sentiment and a fleet manager who silences the microphones of truth at the same time. Who knows with my suggestions, someday A&S Transit could win a bus package.
