SINGAPORE - Well known for its shadow land transport master plan, SG Transport Critic announced plans to rebrand as Singapore Transport Collective on Tuesday (8 July) as part of their 5th anniversary celebrations.
STC's Lead Editor, A Meow Cat announced the plans via a announcement on STC's official Discord server, Team STC on Tuesday.
New Website
Along with the rebranding, A Meow Cat also announced the migration of STC to a brand new site starting from 1 January 2026. A Meow Cat cited that the purpose was to support further community outreach activities held by STC in the future, on top of its current function of hosting articles. The new site is still a work in progress at press time and is expected to be launched ahead of the migration. STC would officially rebrand itself together with the launch of the new website.
Administration Structure And Role Changes
On top of the rebranding and new website, A Meow Cat also announced changes to the leadership structure and roles of STC. The Author and Collaborator roles were abolished while the Reader role was renamed to Member and the Lead Editor role was renamed to Chief Director.
A Meow Cat ended the announcement with the statement: "These changes aim to reflect our diversified expansion strategy to reach out to stakeholders and the larger community in other ways beyond current efforts."
